Superintending Engineer: This is a responsible position that oversees the planning, execution, and maintenance of civil works on the IISER Berhampur campus. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, experience in contract management and tendering, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Junior Superintendent: This position provides administrative support to various departments within the institute. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline, good computer skills, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Eligibility Criteria for IISER vacancy
|
| Superintending Engineer: |
- First class degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering field from a recognized university/institute.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in contract management, tendering, planning, works accounts procedures, and byelaws of local bodies.
- Experience in the maintenance of Civil works including Public Health Engineering.
- Experience in electrical, AC, telephone, Computer Networking, etc. is desirable.

| Junior Superintendent: |
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institute.
- Good computer skills with proficiency in office applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in administration, accounts, or secretarial work.
- Experience in translation from English to Hindi is desirable.
