Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Engineering (Marine/Mechanical/Electrical) or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Candidates with a Diploma in Engineering (Marine Engineering/Mechanical Engineering) can also apply, but they will be required to have additional experience (as mentioned below).
- Experience:
- Experience in operating and maintaining marine engines, generators, and other auxiliary machinery is required.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience at sea or in a workshop is required for candidates with a Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience at sea or in a workshop is required for candidates with a Diploma in Engineering.
- Other Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
